The group was formed in 2002. We are a group of wine lovers from a range of backgrounds and age groups who have the same interest and enjoy meeting up once a month to share the experience of tasting new wines. Each meeting features a guest speaker and a tasting of around six wines. The range of speakers includes winemakers, wine merchants and professional wine educators.

Our meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7.00 pm in the Cleary Suite in the Landmark Centre, Deal. This is ideally situated with free on-street parking and our members come from all around the area including Dover, Kingsdown, Walmer, Sandwich, etc. to enjoy the wines.

 

Members pay an annual subscription, currently £15 per person, and pay a charge for each tasting. The amount charged will vary depending on the theme and wines being presented. This enables us from time to time to enjoy some finer wines.
